1.1. Payout Schedule: Payouts will be made on the 1st and 15th of each month, at least 30 days after the referred customer converted from a free account to a paid account. For example, if a referred customer upgrades their account on January 3rd, the affiliate will be paid on February 15th.
1.2. Payout Method: Payouts will be made via PayPal.
2.1. Self-referrals are not allowed. The spirit of the program is to reward affiliates for referring other people. This is not a way to get a discount on your own account. If an affiliate purchases an account using their own affiliate link, the commission for that sale will be voided. We appreciate that this sometimes happens inadvertently due to cookies. Commissions will be paid on all sales from your referrals, just not your own.
3.1. Affiliates' links include a built-in one-time offer of 40% off for the first year if the referred customer upgrades to a paid plan within 4 days of creating their free account. This is an exclusive deal for affiliate partners. Affiliates must notify their audience that they need to buy through the provided link to secure this limited-time deal. Customers must upgrade to a paid plan within 4 days of creating their free account to secure this discount.
4.1. Paid Search Campaigns: Affiliates are not allowed to bid on branded keyword search terms such as "Copy.ai" and "Copy.ai Pricing."
4.2. Impersonation: Affiliates must not impersonate Copy.ai or attempt to deceive people into believing their company is Copy.ai.
4.3. Prohibited Content and Activities: Affiliates are not allowed to promote their affiliate links on pornographic websites or engage in any other activities that violate Copy.ai's terms and policies.
5.1. In some cases, we can give credit to a referral partner even if the customer did not sign up through their link (for example, if they did not sign up through their link by mistake). If an affiliate has a case like this, they can contact us at [email protected], and we will do our best to help. Note that retroactive referral credit can only be applied within 14 days of a new account's start date.
6.1. We use Rewardful as our affiliate tracking software. They have world-class tracking technology and an easy-to-use dashboard to view visitors, leads, customers, and payments.
6.2. Copy.ai affiliate tracking works by attaching a cookie to the user's browser when they click an affiliate link. This tracks them for 60 days. Even if they click on another affiliate's link, they are still considered the original affiliate's referral.
6.3. Affiliates have 60 days to convert a visitor into a customer. If a customer purchases after 60 days of first clicking the affiliate link, the cookie will have expired, and the visitor will no longer be tracked.
6.4. Affiliates will get credit for any sale that is tracked to their link. The only time they may not get credit is if someone has clicked on another affiliate link within the past 60 days. In that case, the other affiliate will get credit for the sale. The Copy.ai website does not have an affiliate tracking link connected to it, so affiliates can still get credit for sales even if someone has visited the site before clicking their affiliate link.
7.1. Commissions will not apply if an existing Copy.ai user or someone in the customer database converts to a paid plan from an affiliate link. Commissions are only applicable when a customer signs up for a new account after clicking an affiliate link.
